Slow Heat by Jill Shalvis
I love Jill Shalvis books. She writes about the great outdoors - I hate the great outdoors. She writes about sports - I hate most sports. But.....I've found that no matter what the setting, or the profession of the main characters, Shalvis usually delivers a great storyline, and characters that have red hot chemistry. This book is one of those. She takes a great story idea - two people who are attracted to each other "pretend" to be romantically involved for business reasons. Wade - the baseball hero of the story - is totally hot, charming without being obnoxious, a total softy for the woman he likes and kids. Every time there is an opportunity for a cliche, Shalvis choose to not go that route. Def a good book.
